[Nolose-announce] NYC Fat Flea: Donate your Plus-Size Clothes!

The fourth annual Fat Girl Flea Market is coming once again-- this time
for TWO DAYS only: July 8th and 9th, 2006 at the LGBT Center: 208 w.
13th Street, NYC.  We need your clothing donations to make it work!

WHY SHOULD YOU DONATE?

1. Spring Cleaning Made Simple!
    Toss stuff you don't wear, make room for stuff you will wear!

2. Get A Tax Deduction!
    Support the NOLOSE conference, mainly the scholarship fund.
    All clothing donations will receive a tax deduction letter.

3. Recycle + Reuse = GOOD!
    One woman's clutter is another woman's treasure!
     We love seeing the pants sitting in the bottom of your closet
become
    someone else's new favorite jeans.

4. Create A Super Shopping Extravaganza!
     It's a rockin' bargainmania for everyone wearing sizes XL to 6X +
up.
    Shopping has never been this much fun!

WHAT TO DONATE:

We want your pants, trousers, capris, shorts, miniskirts, cocktail
dresses, tube tops, shrugs, tunics, tanks, sweaters, blazers, bathing
suits, cardigans, sundresses, jeans, khakis, ball gowns, wraps, shawls,
winter coats, tees, button downs, blouses, and caftans!

You can help us out by making sure your donations are sparkling clean
and in good condition. Good condition means absolutely nothing with
holes or stains.

No shoes, please!

HOW TO DONATE:

It's easy!  There are two ways to donate this year:

1.  Schedule a pickup

We will pick up your clothes!  Pickups in the greater NYC area and
Philadelphia areas will start in mid-May and go through June.  To

2. Bring to the FleaMarket

Drop off your clothes at the Center during our pre-flea set-up time
(FRIDAY JULY 7 6-10 PM), or during the first day of the fleamarket
(SATURDAY JULY 8, 12-8PM).  If you want to drop off your clothing at
the fleamarket, remember to do it Friday or Saturday.  Sunday is a
shopping only day!
