Hrm, I think it's about the same distance as Menla was from NYC--I also think that if we're talking the Sierras or other comparable retreat-y nature place, we're looking at the same amount of driving time. So I think your question is a good one, Deva!

Also wondering what the date proposition is this year. It would help to
evaluate the fog/cold/heat factor for different locations.
