Hi Max,
I looked at this place before and disregarded it, I think because of the sleeping and the general spread-outness of it.
I think that, depending on price, it might be possible to purchase some alternative sleeping accommodations and/or to rent some golf carts to help transport folks, but I have a memory or this place being pricey. Do you know the cost?
I think that without the guarantee of the swimming pool being open and available around the clock, it does not seem compelling enough to me in any way that would make it worth the effort of working on alternative sleeping arrangements. Pretty, but not enough to make up for the lack of comfortable sleeping options.
I think we need to start looking harder at small hotels with pool that we can rent out and that are in restful locations. I am wondering about Tahoe- does anyone know that area well enough to know if there are any that would work well?

this is from Ross Relles, the accessible place in the Sierras. They finally got back to me!!!

I called the guy to ask about a site visit. They are currently all closed up, so we can't actually go see the place until March. I will write him back with questions about pricing and such.
Yippee!!!

RE Your request for info on Camp Availability.
We do not have anyone scheduled in camp for the Oct 5-8 as you
requested and have you tentatively reserved for that time period. Our
camp is fully wheelchair accessible so that should be no problem. The
pool may not be usable being so late in the season, but the rest of
the camp should be great. Be advised that only 8 of the 12 cabins are
winterized with furnaces and insulation and that the beds in all
cabins are all bunk beds, 5 sets in each cabin. Will you want us to
do the cooking or will you be providing your own? You have the option.
If you need to phone, use 916-965-3898 as our phone at camp has been
experiencing some problems and we are having the phone company
checking it out.
Nick Nichol, Site Manager
