I agree that I don't think this place is going to work.

I talked to the Corte Madeira Inn today. It's a bit schmancy and may be
too pricey, but not positive. It's a smaller hotel, so if we took 50
rooms, we would take half of it. Do we know what the budget is. It
would really help me to know what I am looking at there. For instance,
this place had the following approx. costs:

Rooms - 145. per night - so half of that for double occupancy, maybe
less if some rooms take cots
Food - needs more discussion, but let's say around $50.00 per day for
all three meals (but only need one Friday, and two Sunday.
Huge room - complimentary if we rented 50 rooms.
Break Outs - may be a problem because the smaller ones are upstairs.
Would have to figure out something. The large room divides.

Very approximately, 200.00 cost per person with double occupancy
straight up based on 100 people without figuring scholorship, and Nolose
additional costs. These were also quoted costs without going into a
bigger negotiation, which I am sure I can shave a bit off of once we
were seriously getting down into the details. Is this in the ballpark? I
think there are other small hotelly type things like this in Marin and
Sonoma that we would not rent out totally, but with taking up half of
the rooms, we would be a dominant force, and we would be the main group,
so there would not be another wedding or whatever to contend with.
